Illustration of locomotive in bluish green, a rare design for this historic railroad which operated from 1852-1923 in the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario as well as several New England states, including Maine, Montreal Telegraph Company acquired much of the Grand Trunk Railway Telegraph Company in 1855, and GTR began sending out "Electric Telegraphs" under the GTR name.
