Reg'y Div. 3-19, 1892" oval marking, with New York registry label, to London, England. Endorsed "per Str. "Servia". Paid double 5c UPU rate + 10c registry fee. Ex-Gibson, Johnson.

The Cunard liner SS Servia was a successful transatlantic passenger and mail steamer of revolutionary design, launched in 1881. She was the first large ocean liner to be built of steel instead of iron, and the first Cunard ship to have an electric lighting installation.
