A.C. L 23 Avril 60" French entry marking indicating that the letter was from the United States by British service via England and entered France at Calais, processed on the ambulent or railroad car to Paris by postal team or brigade "L" Boxed "15" marking applied in Paris indicating the French Convention rate of 15c or 8 decimes for a single rate unpaid letter.
