"Sch'dy N.Y. Dec. 10 1833" (date in manuscript) 30mm red double circle postmark and matching "6" handstamp, on folded letter to Stillwater, Saratoga County, N.Y.  Under 30 miles zone 6c collect rate.

Three printed pages of Union College, Schenectady, N.Y. , college bill for room, board and tuition for student William T. Seymour, sent to his father Joel Seymour, for term starting Sept. 6th and ending Nov. 29th,1833, with list of course of studies for Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior Classes.

Union College is a private liberal arts college in Schenectady, N.Y.  Founded in 1795, it was the first institution of higher learning chartered by the New York State Board of Regents, and second in the state of New York, after Columbia College (formerly King's College).
