1876 3c green on white Centennial envelope front (U219) with "Centennial Phila'da Pa. May 25, 5 PM" (1876) and cork cancel with typed address to Utica, N.Y.

The newly invented typewriter was demonstrated at the Exposition, and the Centennial envelopes were addressed on the typewriters with accompanying typed lettersĀ and sent by visitors to those back home as souvenirs. A supply of 3c green indicia Centennial envelopes were kept at the Remington booth for patrons. The Exposition was open from May 10 to November 10, 1876.

With 2005 APEX certificate stating that this is the EDU for UPSS no. 644-7-30-3 and for Centennial envelope with typed address. According to Centennial Exposition specialist Dave Savadge this certificate is still valid.
