Austria 6kr brown type III machine made paper (Scott 4b) tied by "Prag 17/11" boxed datestamp, "Recom" (abbreviation for Recomandirt (Registered), another 6kr brown stamp on back, also tied by Prag boxed datestamp, paying registry fee, on blue folded letter sheet to Kladrob, pr. (short for "pres" which is Czech for "via") Prelautsch (Bohemia). 18 Nov. Przelaucz transit backstamp. Postal regulations from 1850 to 1866 required that the stamp paying the registry fee to be affixed on the back of the letter.

Kladrub is now called Kladruby nad Labem, and Prelautsch (also called Przelaucz) is now called Prelouc, both towns now in the Czech Republic.
