Hungary 1871 3 kr. green lithographed first issue (Michel #2) tied by "Kolozvar 27/12 71" circular datestamp on locally addressed letter sheet, internally docketed as received 28/12 1871. A nice example of this scarce rate from a smaller town. Gudlin catalog rates this scarce postmark at 20 points.

Signed by Ferchenbauer at lower right, with his 2004 certificate. Provenance: Collection of Dr. Anton & Elisabeth Jerger, Corinphila auction (May 2005) lot 269. Ex- Erivan Haub collection. On back at lower right is the tiny collector mark of Anton Jerger.
