"Charleston S.C. Apr. 12" (1859) circular datestamp on 3c red on buff Nesbitt postal entire (U10) to Mount Tabor, S.C., with corner card of "South-Carolina Rail Road, Receiving & Forwarding Office."

With original contents dated 1859, invoice for freight and other charges for three packages delivered by railroad from Philadelphia. Back of invoice is inscribed "The amount of this Bill has been charged upon the Freight List accompanying the Goods, and this is sent by mail merely to advise you of the date your Goods were forwarded, and to enable you to examine the charges."
