3c green Centennial postal entire (#U219) with "Philadelphia Pa. Oct. 6, 10 PM" (1876) circular datestamp, with typewritten address to Marlboro, N.H.  With original enclosure, Machinery Hall printed stationery "I am thinking of you" partly typed message from the Remington Typewriter exhibit at the Centennial Exposition.

Purple oval handstamp on back "Type Writer, J.W. Bain, Agt., 532 Walnut Street, Philadelphia."  John W. Bain was the Remington agent at the Exposition and had his offices in Philadelphia.
