Description:

Single Scott's US #11 brownish carmine tied by a blue Philadelphia PA cds. Mailed to Johnson Sewalt & Co. Envelope was reused with the original address crossed out and re-addressed to Mrs. B. A. Farnham in West Andover MA. The Boston post office applied their cds in black indicating the proper 5-cent rate for an unpaid letter of the period.
