The Huntley Manufacturing Company was founded in 1853 in Silver Creek, New York. They manufactured a wide range of mill equipment for the grain and flour industry, as well as the coffee and peanut business. Huntley moved in 1929 to Brocton, Chautauqua County, New York, on Lake Erie. About this time, they also opened a branch manufacturing office across Lake Erie at Tillsonburg, Ontario. The company added equipment for processing grape juices after their move to Brocton. The corner card on this cover refers to their "Monitor" line of Coffee Machinery, including gas-fired coffee roasters. Huntley went out of business in the late 1940s.
