Austria 1858 10 kreuzer brown, type II (#10) tied by "Horenems 26/9" (1860) circular datestamp on folded letter datelined "Horenems 26 Sept 1860" to Innsbruck. "Gebrüjier Schwarz Horenems" oval merchant's handstamp.  "Innsbruck 28/9" arrival circular datestamp on reverse.

Paid the 10 kreuzer rate of 10 to 20 meilen (post-miles) per loth effective Nov 1 1858.

Hohenems is a town in the Austrian state of Voralberg in the Dornbirn district. It lies in the middle of the Austrian part of the Rhine valley. The town is located at the extreme western tip of Austria, about 16 km (10 miles) south of Lake Constance, close to the border with Switzerland.
