Description: Incoming blockade run black bordered mourning cover with a military address.  Exact English origin cannot be determined.  Received in Charleston (Steam Ship oval) on July 30th and annotated "12" cents due in blue pencil.  
  
Forwarded from Charleston with a 10-cent CSA stamp [Scott #12] on August 3rd to Savannah, Georgia.  
  
This cover listed in the Walske census (see pag 247) as BI-Ch-59.  
The docketing at the right side of the envelope is post-war.
