1869 3c ultramarine (#114) with target cancel and two strikes of "Tunnel City Wis. Oct 7" circular datestamp on orange cover to New York.

Tunnel City is an unincorporated census-designated place in the town of Greenfield, Monroe County, Wisconsin. It was named after the train tunnel just to the west which was used by the Chicago and North Western Railway (track now abandoned west of the tunnel) and the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad (Milwaukee Road). The post office in Tunnel City was established in 1858.
