Plimpton Die 56 envelope put onto Route 2429 Newcastle to Homewood of 15 miles at Manoningtown, 2 miles south of Newcastle to receive the Station Agents date stamp (Towle560-S-2) "P. Ft. W. & C. R'y. MAHONG'TOWN STATION". Carried 13 miles south to Homewood for transfer to Route 9002 (Pittsburgh to Chicago of 468 miles) for the 33 miles east to Pittsburgh. Transferred east for Philadelphia and West Chester.
