Railroad Business envelope of the Central Pacific R.R. carried privately by the railroad from Sacramento to San Francisco. The envelope also promoted the "Palace Sleeping Coaches" of George Pullman which were named by the C.P.R.R. as the "Silver Palace" service running, initially Sacramento through to Omaha and then from San Francisco. Brought into operation as soon as the lines were connected at Promantory.
