Here is a WWII airmail cover from a US Consular staff in Shanghai China to his counterpart in Baghdad, Iraq. The cover bears China Scott No. 360, 384 and 461 stamps tied by SHANGHAI 26 SEPT 1941 bi-lingual cancel sent by Airmail via Hong Kong (4 October 41) and arrived in Baghdad 21 Oct 41 as per transit and receiving cancel on back. Cover bears "AV.2" in circle and "NOT OPENED BY CENSOR" in purple box in front and on back Iraqi purple Arabic cancel which I am told indicates the cover was not censored in Baghdad either. Request help with determining the meaning of AV.2 cancel and where it along with NOT OPENED BY CENSOR cancels were applied?
