City, I.T. manuscript Virginia City, Idaho Territory postmark (now Montana) on cover with 3c Rose (#65) with matching cancel, good original letter from a newly arrived miner (AG Wait) includes: "at last we arrived at this load of gold and I tell you it is a land of gold in the one gulch for about 14 miles long and thirty yards wide but all the good claims was taken up .... very good job now I get one hundred dollar per month in in gold and board ..."
